Feeling the excitement

     I met another self published author online the other day.  I found a post she had written about how excited she was about selling 2 copies of her book.  I began looking through several other of her posts and saw one about how thrilled she was when the proof of her book had arrived, the excitement she felt while looking at a real book she had created.

     How could I pass up helping out another independant author?  I immediately bought her book, wanting to be the third person to ever get one.  I'm not sure what it's about yet, but it looks like she put a lot of effort into it, and I felt she deserved at least one more customer.  I still haven't gotten it in the mail, but can't wait!  I started writing seriously late in life, but she's still pretty young and just starting out.  So far, just from her web page, I'm quite impressed!  Take a look at it, I'm sure she'd appreciate it:   http://kaitlynjane.wordpress.com/

     I can still remember how thrilled I was when I got the proof for my first book.  How excited I was when I found out someone I didn't know had paid money for something I had written.  It's like being a little kid on Christmas day all over again.  The thrill is almost...indescribable.  I think I'm even going to post the amazon.com link for her book on my facebook page.  I'll put up a review as soon as I get the book and get it read.  It's a great bargain at only $8.95!  140 pages, too!  And for less than $10 you'll be helping out a new author on her way to greatness!
